My CIT program

So last night I thought of maybe talking about the CIT program (mentioned yesterday) that I did.

I was with six to seven year olds and there were 13 kids. What I planned to do was basically a game of Volleyball with pool noodles and a balloon. I somehow fit it in with the theme of the week (inter galactic).I hadn't realized there were only six pool noodles but after taking them out I found...

FOAM SWORDS!!!!!!!!

Haven't you always wanted to have a battle with these? Admit it! I took seven of them out of the box to complete 13 and decided that one side could be a fighting group of aliens (the swords) and the other side would have tentacles (the noodles). I blew up the balloon and wrote "Caution: Flammable" on it. I also brought two Pylons to mark the boarder.

The kids were really good at it and of course, they had fun. Everyone loves to play with balloons! Except of course the people who are afraid of them.

I will be off to special music-oriented sleep away camp on Sunday for two weeks so I'm not exactly sure WHY I made this blog as I won't be able to blog...

Well since it is made, I may as well start.

I am currently working as a CIT at a day camp and this week I was placed with... SEVEN YEAR OLDS. There is nothing wrong with seven year olds but they can be SO LOUD!

I went to this awesome day camp for the first two weeks of summer and I really miss it. I made many new friends (IA, SA, LA, DCF and NS) and we had so much fun...

All in all, however I actually miss SCHOOL. Yes, school.
